Little stinkers trap woman in house

A woman reported being trapped inside her home after discovering a family of skunks outside the house. The woman requested Whitefish Police officers remove the mother and her babies so she could get out the door.

Someone allegedly broke into a vehicle on Poplar Drive a stole the owner’s paper registration, according to a Flathead County Sheriff’s Office report.

Someone reported hearing gunshots near Spring Creek Road.

A woman left her house off U.S. 2 East to find her truck window smashed. The woman had no suspects.

A male black lab was found on Mountain View Drive and taken to the local shelter.

A man was reportedly seen lying face up on a bridge. The reporting person said the man had a dog with him, but he was unsure if he was conscious or not. Officers responded and discovered the man was intoxicated and had decided to stop and take a nap on the bridge.

A driver was headed down U.S. 2 West when a moose allegedly ran into the driver side door. The moose died. The driver sustained no injuries.

A three-legged terrier mix was found on Ninth Avenue West and taken to the county animal shelter, according to Columbia Falls Police.

A woman reported being harassed by a group of three juveniles repeatedly running up to her car and snapping photos of her for unknown reasons, according to a Kalispell Police report. The woman called the harassment “constant and unfathomable.”

A suspicious male was allegedly seen walking around South Main Street at night checking doors to several businesses. One witness caught his alleged actions on video.

An older chocolate lab was found limping along in a ditch on Treeline Road. The dog was taken to the county shelter.

Suspected drug activity was reported on Eight Avenue West.
