Benny Kee Reed, 61

Benny Kee Reed “found his way into heaven” on June 3, 2017, in Zephyrhills, Florida, at the age of 61 years.

Benny is survived by his mother Marianne Greer of Tampa, Florida, daughter Kristin Reed of Minneapolis, daughter Rebekah Reed of Des Moines, Iowa, daughter Elizabeth Reed Roberts and son-in-law Nathan Roberts of Flossmoor, Illinois, brother Michael Reed of Eufaula, Oklahoma, sister Jane Reed of Atlanta, three grandsons, two nephews, four stepbrothers, one stepsister, several cousins and many friends.

Benny was born March 11, 1956, in Verdun, France, to parents Marianne Greer and Wallace K. Reed (deceased).

He served honorably in the U.S. Army as a medical assistant. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Faith Baptist Bible College, Ankeny, Iowa.

Benny will be forever remembered for his, truly gentle, kind heart and bravery of enduring his illness.
