A piglet was reportedly found running down Highway 82, a vehicle following close behind. The reporting person said the vehicle took off when she pulled over to investigate, so she took the pig with her to work to await Flathead Sheriff’s deputies.

A light brown pit bull mix was found on Hollow Lane and taken to the county animal shelter.

A woman returned home on Second Avenue West to find her raised garden beds ablaze. The woman told Kalispell Police she had no idea who started the fire.
