TORONTO — Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly, a 2003 Flathead High School grad, was ranked as the No. 2 player in Canadian television network TSN’s top 50 players entering the 2017 Canadian Football League season.

Reilly, who led the league with 5,554 passing yards and was second with 28 touchdown passes in 2016, fell one spot from last year when he topped the list following a Grey Cup championship.

Former Eastern Washington QB Bo Levi Mitchell, now the head signal caller for the Calgary Stampeders, earned the top ranking. Calgary linebacker and former Montana State Bobcat Alex Singleton was listed at No. 47.

Reilly and the Eskimos start their season on Saturday in Vancouver in a game against the BC Lions. The game will be telecast in the U.S. on ESPN2 beginning a 8 p.m. MT.
