Lorna Louise (Reimer) Isaak, 74

Lorna Louise (Reimer) Isaak, 74, passed on June 14, 2017, at the Brendan House in Kalispell.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1943, on the homestead in Whitefish to John and Daisy Reimer.

Lorna attended Whitefish schools, Class of 1961. Later in life, she went on to college and received her Associate of Science degree at Flathead Valley Community College.

In 1961, Lorna married Donald A. Lanegan and they had four children together.

Throughout her life, she had various agricultural jobs, but she first started as a farm hand while growing up on the family homestead. Later on, she worked at the cherry warehouse in Kalispell, Van Akens Gardens in Whitefish and was also a Forest Service technician in Libby. In addition, she was a computer technician at Stream International in Kalispell and a sales associate at the Wild Rose in Columbia Falls.

Lorna loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, berry picking, camping and working in her gardens. She also enjoyed being a regular member at the First Church of the Nazarene in Whitefish.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Daisy; and siblings, Bruce Reimer, Clarece Cooley, Pauline Hill and Martha Cullen.

She is survived by her children, John Lanegan, Albert Lanegan, Donald Lanegan and Katherine Lanegan; and sister, Joann Spurlock; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

We’ll miss her forever.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Whitefish. A reception will follow at the church.
