Man finds comfort on bathroom floor

A man was allegedly found lying on the floor between the stalls of a store bathroom, refusing to get up or leave. The person who found him told the Kalispell Police Department he believed the man was intoxicated and promised to guard the bathroom until authorities arrived.

A 60-70 pound gray and white dog was seen hanging out near Mountain Park Lane with no tags or collar.

The driver of a truck was reported for nearly running over a pedestrian near Commons Way. The pedestrian believed it was intentional, stating the driver of the truck sped up as the pedestrian began to cross and then slammed on his brakes, got out of the truck and started yelling.

A woman stated her son’s phone was stolen while he was in gym class.

Police received a report of a teenager who was allegedly headed to a shopping center to “defend his mom’s honor” against another teen who allegedly threatened to shoot his mother. Police found no evidence of any criminal activity.

When a man was stopped at a bank for using a counterfeit $20 bill, he claimed it was the bank that gave it to him.

A man found bloody clothing and other items in a backpack abandoned near his home on Third Avenue West. Law enforcement retrieved the backpack.

A lost husky wandered onto a woman’s porch near Ruddy Duck Drive. The woman volunteered to hold the dog overnight in case the owner called.

A man was reportedly seen digging through the garbage of a shop on U.S. 93 North.

Several gas cans and other items were reported stolen off a flatbed trailer on Sun Trail.

A woman claimed her driver’s side car window was busted while parked on Eighth Avenue West.

Someone allegedly punched the door of a vehicle on North Main Street.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a woman allegedly caught stealing pills from a home.

A big green dumpster was reportedly left in the middle of Reservoir Road just after a blind corner, according to the Whitefish Police Department.

A man was reportedly intoxicated when he staggered out of his hotel room, naked. Officers found the man passed out on his hotel bed, still naked, and advised him that if he did not behave, he would be removed from the hotel.
