Extra 'favors' affecting other businesses

A man called the Kalispell Police Department to report that he had heard a local massage therapy business was offering extra “favors.” He was concerned that the illicit activities were affecting other businesses in town.

An employee at a business on West Idaho Street reported a fight between two customers.

Suspicious activity was reported on Forth Avenue East when a man was allegedly attempting to get into a neighbor’s house.

A suspicious bag of powder was reported by a caller on Fifth Avenue East. It was determined that the powder was not a narcotic.

A caller reported that a male was panhandling outside a business on Highway 93 North. The caller was concerned because the panhandler was only approaching people who were by themselves.

Suspicious activity was reported by a caller on Eighth Avenue Westnorth. The caller believed that a couple of high school kids might be having relations in their vehicle. The suspects were asked to move along.

A caller on Treeline Road reported a vehicle that had an “overwhelming smell of marijuana.”

A possible drug deal allegedly occurred on Highway 2 West where a caller stated suspicious activity was happening between two vehicles.

An intoxicated male was allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road on West Reserve Drive.

While out walking her dogs, a woman reported that she saw what looked like a man doing drugs near a construction zone on Corporate Drive. She said that he allegedly threw something near a set of generators.

A caller on Claremont Street who was following a vehicle that had allegedly brake-checked them reported that the driver was being hostile. The driver allegedly had a rifle on the seat, but did not brandish it.

A street sign on Third Avenue East was reportedly knocked down sometime during the night, according to the Columbia Falls Police Department.

A caller on Baker Avenue reported to the Whitefish Police Department that her neighbor allegedly started making threats after she asked him to move his vehicle, which she said had been blocking the alley.
