Political fallout

Politics is getting pretty boring ... and we’re only one month into the Trump presidency. The blood sport which is politics is in full swing. The criminal news media — most outlets except for a few newspapers, FOX, and AM talk shows — seem to have developed amnesia or at least a severe case of double standards. Everything the new Trump administration does is evil, mean spirited, doesn’t reflect American values and must be stopped to save our very civilization itself. Ask any liberal, Democrat, or member of the drive-by media.

Even wishy-washy Chris Wallace of FOX News is offended that the president would call out the mainstream media as the enemy of the people and then defend all news media’s right to report on whatever they want. I dare say that our Founding Fathers might have thought twice about allowing the press to report damaging leaks from the security services ... leaks which qualify as illegal if not actual treason ... and then protect the press from revealing their un-named sources who committed these illegal, treasonous acts.

We have Maxine Waters (California Democrat congresswoman) using her brilliant oratorical talents to describe the Trump Cabinet as “scumbags.” And the Democrat press response ... nothing. Or Elijah Cummings and Nancy Pelosi (two more Democrats) citing a fake Michael Flynn tweet declaring himself a “scapegoat.” So giddy with the possibility of Flynn denouncing his former boss and never being asked to personally correct any of their lies by their buds in the press, they rushed to get the word out at a news conference without checking or even having a staffer notice the sender was not Flynn. The brilliant Pelosi even explained what scapegoat meant, assuming, I suppose, that her illiterate press and liberal followers might need some help with that!

What would you liberals have said if a congressperson had called Eric Holder a scumbag for lying to Congress, the American people and the family of a dead border guard about his botched gun-running program Fast and Furious? Or calling Loretta Lynch a scumbag for meeting with Bill Clinton secretly while investigating his wife? Would you have called that person a racist ... you bet you would and the press would have repeated the accusation for days.

What did you liberals and your friends in the drive-by press repeat for years about Republicans during the Obama presidency? Poor Obama and those darned pesky Republican OBSTRUCTIONISTS! Republicans and Rush Limbaugh wanted Obama to fail and relentlessly obstructed all his attempts to help the “folks.” Let’s fast forward to the last month. Have there ever been so few opposition party (Democrat) votes for nearly every one of a president’s Cabinet picks or more delays at every stage of hearings? Are Democrats called RACIST by the liberal media for opposing Dr. Ben Carson — a black conservative physician — nominated to be HUD Secretary or MISOGYNISTIC for opposing Betsy DeVos to head Education? Of course not. By definition Democrats can’t be racist just like blacks can’t be racist.

And Democrats can’t be misogynistic even when they vote against a woman who has new ideas to improve our continuously declining and failing public education system to keep the money flowing from teachers’ unions into their campaign coffers. Nor can they be branded misogynistic for trying to destroy the president’s daughter, a woman who has defended and advanced women’s causes including during the presidential campaign. Nor can a New York Times reporter be called racist and misogynistic for calling First Lady Trump, a beautiful, smart talented legal immigrant, a hooker! Was that moron, Jacob Bernstein, fired? Of course not. If that had been said about Michelle Obama what do you think would have happened to the reporter? I can assure you no half-hearted apology would have saved his job or his career. Liberals, by definition, can’t be racist or misogynistic. They just can’t. If you don’t believe me, ask anyone in the liberal media.
