Perry Lee Warren Jr., 64

| March 13, 2017 10:15 PM

Our beloved dad, son, grandpa, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend, Perry Lee Warren Jr., physically departed from this great planet earth due to heart failure on March 4, 2017.

He was born on June 15, 1952, in Jerome, Idaho, to Perry Lee Warren (born Aug. 16, 1925, in Kutch, Colorado) and Bonnie Marie (Page) Warren (born Sept. 8, 1930, in Cozad, Nebraska). The family was from Dietrich, Idaho, and that is where his ashes shall be laid to rest.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, son Brenton, and many other great family members.

He is survived by his mother Bonnie Marie Dorris, of Burley, Idaho; son Miles Warren and family of Kalispell; brother Jim R. Warren and wife Cheryl of Dietrich, Idaho; sisters Janie Marie and Ken Meyers of Valley, Washington, Roxyann Lee Carper of Odessa, Washington, and Roberta Sue Pool of Port Townsend, Washington; Aunt Ruby and Uncle Herb McCowan of Dietrich; and many other relatives.

Perry pretty much grew up in the farming country of southern Idaho in Lincoln County. To his very end he repeatedly told stories of his younger days, especially those spent with Aunt Ruby and Uncle Herb and family on their farm/ranch in Dietrich. He got into construction and began his tile learning skills in the Sun Valley, Idaho, area prior to moving to the Flathead Valley in 1991. Most people do not realize that in his younger days he was one “helk” of a basketball player, pool shooter and liked to fish and hunt, and began trap shooting with his dear friend Scotty in Kalispell.

There shall be a memorial service for Perry from 1 to 3 p.m. on March 18 at Scotty’s. Please join us in a celebration of Perry’s life while living in the Flathead Valley.
