Wallace Ray Downing, 86

Wallace Ray Downing, 86, of Kalispell was born Feb.14, 1931, in Hamilton to Clare and Kathleen Downing.

He passed away on Feb. 22, 2017.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Miles, Don and Jerry.

Wally is survived by his two sisters, Lorette Schneider of Seattle, and and Betty Ann Henderson of Post Falls, Idaho, as well as his wife Connie. He also leaves children, Kathie Pedersen, Karl Downing, Theresa Hughes, Kelly, Laurie Whitaker, Shawnie Kunchick, Dana, and Ray Downing. He will also be missed by numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that all meant so much to him.

Wally was known for his wit, amazing personality, and his love for cars. He was a veteran who served in Germany, which meant a lot to him. He was very much loved and will never be forgotten.
