Pig escape-artists continue to roam
A large brown pig wandered into the yard of a resident on Fourth Avenue East, according to the Columbia Falls Police Department. The “friendly” pig was believed to weigh over 200 pounds and took off down the road before his new friends could catch him.
A boy found a Fit Bit on a bike path while walking to school. He told Columbia Falls Police he would take it to school and turn it in to his school resource officer.
Three more pigs escaped and were found on West Third Street. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office contacted the owner and told them where to find the pigs.
A rockslide was reported on Jennings Haul Road.
Water was reported in a lane of Farm to Market Road.
Someone found a yellow lab on Mahoney Road and took it to the county shelter.
A vehicle was allegedly stolen from a carport on Reserve Place in Kalispell, according to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.
Someone reportedly broke into a vehicle on Alberta Street and stole a wallet, credit card and a prescription for pain pills.
A construction trailer was reportedly broken into and tools stolen on Rosewood Acres Road.
A vehicle on Vista Lane in Bigfork was reportedly broken into. The owner claimed her mail and a prescription were stolen.
Someone reported seeing a large brown pit bull running down Whale Bone Drive in Kalispell. The person said the dog was wet and skittish.
Someone was allegedly bitten while trying to separate two dogs on Rose Crossing. The person said the dogs, a collie mix and a smaller dog, ran off before authorities could capture them.
A knife-wielding man allegedly came to the door of a resident of First Avenue South in Hungry Horse asking for money. When the homeowner declined, the man allegedly left, threatening to return later.
Someone’s brown and white Boston terrier went missing.
An angry neighbor allegedly jumped someone’s patio and began banging on their door, demanding they “turn it down.”
Two people were reported for posting a video of themselves drinking beer while driving on Instagram.
