Delores Tkachyk Weber, 78

Delores passed away in her home at Sweetwater Assisted Living in Billings on March 16, 2017. “She has gone to be with her beloved husband of 60 years, Leslie.”

Delores was born in Scobey to Peter and Nellie Tkachyk on May 7, 1938. She completed her schooling in Scobey where she graduated from high school.

Delores and Leslie married in 1957 and made their home in Flaxville, Montana. They purchased the Westland Gas Station and had four children. In 1970 they moved to Billings where Delores worked as a certified nursing assistant and later a waitress.

Delores and Leslie loved to camp, go fishing, gardening, and loved to spend time with their children and grandchildren.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband Leslie, parents Peter and Nellie Tkachyk, and two sisters, Leona Tkachyk and Jeannie Beglau.

Delores is survived by her four children, Kelly (Maggie) of Fairbault, Minnesota, Brian (Charla) of Columbia Falls, Lezlee (Brian) Krings of Lewistown, and Jeff (Kristine) of Billings; 11 grandchildren, Nick, Kaleigh, Gage, Erica, Cece, Ashley, Chelsea, Alison, Taylor, Jordan and Leslie; four great-grandchildren, Marli, Kayston, Aniyah and Connor; and her siblings, Ralph Tkachyk, Paul Tkachyk, Patty Haugan and Mary Hackman.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sweetwater Assisted Living and Compassus Hospice Care for the wonderful care given to both our parents.
