Edward M. Lewis, 72

Edward M. Lewis, age 72, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, in Kalispell. After 17 days in the ICU at Kalispell Regional Medical Center, he “went to the happy hunting place in the sky!”

He was born April 6, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father Jesse Lewis of Ohio and mother Viola of West Liberty, Kentucky.

He farmed in Shiloh, Ohio, for many years then moved to Ferndale in 1974, and lived in Kila for the past few years. He was a carpenter and built many houses in the valley for resale. Ed enjoyed hunting, hiking and going to gun shows, he also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, Eddie was a simple man and spent his life in the same manner, he was a happy go lucky guy and we will miss him.

He is survived in death by his brother Everett (Patty) in Bigfork, Niece Lorie Lewis Campise (Gino) of Kalispell, Nephew Chad Lewis (Lisa), Ryan Gaven, Miss Morgan of Monument, Colorado. Eddie is also survived in death by sisters and brothers of West Liberty, Kentucky.
