Wolfpack wallops Flathead

Glacier dominated the crosstown tennis meet on Tuesday, dropping just one match between the boys and girls duals.

The Wolfpack girls swept their dual getting straight sets singles wins from McKenna Tinseth, Brittyn Olsen, Maggie Rudbach and Nina Friedman.

Holland Blalack won in straight sets at No. 1 boys singles but it was the only close win for the Wolfpack boys in singles. Graham Friedman and Colin Hill each scrapped back from first set losses to win in three sets.

Flathead’s Kiegan Snider won at No. 4 singles, bouncing back from a second set loss to win 7-5 in the third set.

The Glacier boys won all of the doubles in straight sets.

Libby-Whitefish Dual

The Libby boys edged out Whitefish while the Whitefish girls swept the Loggers at Flathead Valley Community College.

Loggers singles players Colin Maloney, Cody Wood and Sebastian Sanders won their matches and the doubles team of Gio Cano and Ryan Nagle won in straight sets to edge Whitefish, 4-3.

The Bulldogs’ Eric Holdhusen won the lone singles match for Whitefish winning at No. 1 in straight sets.

The Whitefish girls swept their side of the meet, winning all of their singles matches in straight sets, but needing three sets to win each of their three doubles matches, including a 13-11 tiebreaker in the third set of No. 3 doubles to complete the sweep.
