Award-winning kids musician Bill Harley to play in Kalispell
Grammy award-winning children’s musician Bill Harley will play three days of shows in Kalispell, culminating with a public performance Friday at 7 p.m. at Flathead High School.
Harley will perform privately for more than 3,000 elementary school students from throughout Northwest Montana on Wednesday and Thursday.
The shows are presented by the Kalispell Education Foundation. Tickets to Friday’s show are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and available at Imagination Station in Whitefish and Photo Video Plus in Kalispell. Tickets will also be sold online at www.billharleykalispell.brownpapertickets.com.
An author, singer and performer, Harley has frequently been featured on the National Public Radio program “A Pea Green Boat.” His accolades include a Lifetime Achievement award from the Rhode Island Humanities Council, two Grammys for Best Spoken Word Album for Children — “Blah Blah Blah: Stories About Blams, Swamp Monsters, Pirates and Dogs” in 2007 and “Yes to Running” in 2009 — and the National Storytelling Network’s Circle of Excellence award in 2001.
