How now, brown cow?

A brown cow was seen standing beside U.S. 2 East just north of the airport. Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies were unsure how the cow had escaped or where she came from.

Two sinks were reported stolen from a home on Gleneagles Trail. The owner said the sinks were sitting outside the residence when they were taken.

A vehicle was reported stolen after the man borrowing the truck from his girlfriend left it unlocked with a full tank of gas and the key stowed under the floor mat.

A stray blue heeler was found on U.S. 2 East and taken to the county shelter.

Two stray German shepherds were reportedly chasing deer on Lost Creek Road.

After returning home from a trip out of town, a woman found her home had been broken into and reported two guns and some money missing.

A woman reported seeing a blue car pull into her driveway and a man get out to ring her doorbell. When she did not answer, she said three more people got out of the car and ran up to her house. She stated she then opened the door and asked what they were doing, causing them all to run back to their vehicle and take off.

A man allegedly woke up to find someone had set a pot with dirt on fire, causing damage to his deck.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Ridgewood Drive.

Two flat-coated retrievers were found on White Rabbit Lane and taken to the local shelter.

A man told authorities he ordered a box of ammo from an online dealer and when the ammo arrived, the box also contained five cellphones.

A woman said she came home from dinner out to find someone had broken into her house on Eighth Avenue East and stolen a safe.

Four teens were allegedly seen using a dog to “taunt” a fox on bike path near J.P. Road. The reporting person told Whitefish Police the fox was “screaming” and in obvious distress.

While dog-sitting a Turkish hound, a woman reported that the dog had escaped from her home.

Someone reported being harassed by a man selling flags on the corner of Second Avenue East and demanding money from passers-by, according to Kalispell Police.

A man reported that a leaf blower fell out of the back of his vehicle while driving down North Main Street or West Center Street.

After leaving his garage door open, a man reported several tools and a bike stolen from his home on Fifth Avenue East.

A man was reported for spontaneously dropping his pants in public on West Idaho Street.

A man reported having a prescription and two handguns stolen from his home on Northern Lights Boulevard.
