Lakers, Belgrade split twinbill

The Kalispell Lakers AA team split a doubleheader with Belgrade’s A team on Saturday at Griffin Field.

The Lakers took the first game 6-5 behind five strong innings from Dawson Smith.

Brady Peiffer earned a save.

Fortunes turned in the second game, however, as Kalispell commited four errors in a 6-5 loss.

The Lakers A team lost its first game against Belgrade B, 4-2.
