A new Mountain Life television episode, “Big Mountain Hideaway in Whitefish, Montana,” will feature a nomadic family finally settling down in the Flathead Valley and Whitefish. The episode, which is part of a homebuying series about finding the perfect mountain home for the right price, premieres Saturday, May 13, at 9:30 p.m. on HGTV.

Whitefish residents Greg and Jessica Morris will be featured.

“Mountain living has always signified a way to exchange the stresses of life for beautiful views, fresh air, and a sense of renewal,” Marc Pierce, co-owner of Warm Springs Productions, said in a press release. “In Mountain Life, we’re excited to feature Whitefish as one of these idyllic locations that draws homeowners ready to put down roots.”

Mountain Life features families and couples from across the United States who are ready to exchange the hustle of everyday life for a mountain paradise. Each episode follows these individuals as they navigate the tough real estate market to find the perfect mountain retreat that checks all the boxes for their dream home. Previous episodes have featured homeowners in Sun Valley, Idaho; Park City, Utah; and Stowe, Vermont.

“Highlighting the beauty of the Flathead Valley was something our crew loved to do,” added business partner Chris Richardson. “Beyond showing our viewers the Montana sights we are lucky to see everyday, we were able to show what makes our state such a desirable place to live, work, and raise a family.”

Based in Missoula, Warm Springs Production has produced television programming for networks such as Log Cabin Living, Mountain Life and Beach Hunters for HGTV, DIY Network, Mountain Men on the History Channel, and Legends and Lies on Fox news.
