Pirates, Bulldogs split tennis dual
Polson and Whitefish split a tennis dual on Wednesday at Flathead Valley Community College.
Looking to avoid possible wet weather on Friday that has plagued the entire spring season, the teams moved up the planned dual from later in the week.
The Polson girls won at No. 1 singles and doubles but Whitefish swept the rest of their dual, winning five matches on the day. The Polson boys also won five matches, though Whitefish was able to prevail in two of three three-set matches on the day.
