Maxine Kay Goff, 67

Maxine Kay Goff passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017, at the Lake View Care Center in Bigfork, with her loved ones close by.

She was born to Joe and Wilma (Patch) Mercier Jan. 25, 1950, in Sidney — the first girl born on the Mercier side of the family in 25 years.

She graduated with from Flathead High School in 1968. She had three loving sons, Gregory Hagen (Sheri), of Kalispell; Brad Hagen (Dina), of Bismarck, North Dakota; and Aaron Vanalstine/Goff, of Bismarck.

She later married Buck Goff on Aug. 8, 1982.

She enjoyed passing time watching the birds and the scenery from where she lived.

She had three grandchildren, Kelli Wolfe, Cody Hagen and Trystan Hagen. Her love reached out to accept lovingly three stepgrandchildren whom she adored, Tony Grob, Brandee Grob and Kayla Bonny; with five great-grandchildren. She was blessed indeed!

She leaves behind her three sons and grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Don Mercier of Nampa, Idaho, Monty Mercier (Janie) of Helena, and Tim Mercier of Sidney; and one sister, Jody (Roger) Petersen, of Sidney; many nephews and nieces whom she also loved and adored; many close cousins; and even two uncles from her father’s side, Bill and Bud Mercier.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents; Buck, her loving soul mate; her sweet sister-in-law, Mila Mercier; many aunts and uncles, and three special cousins.

No funeral services will be held, as per her request.
