Driver takes scenic route on back 9

A man was reportedly driving his vehicle on a golf cart path through a golf course in Whitefish. When the caller stopped to speak with him, a screaming match ensued. The man was reportedly agitated and slurring his words. The caller also stated that there was an open container allegedly in the vehicle. Whitefish Police officers were unable to locate the joy rider.

After his neighbors complained about the level of his music, a caller on Minnesota Avenue called to speak to an officer.

A caller on Highway 93 South reported his co-worker attempted to start a fight with him. The fight was reportedly “over a girl.”

A vehicle found in a marsh had reportedly taken out a tree and hit another tree head on. The reporting person could not locate the driver, but stated that the lights were still on and smoke was coming out of the engine.

A caller on Willow Brook Close reported that loud music and laughing were coming from a nearby party. Officers spoke with the homeowner and she agreed to “have everyone calm down.”

A 10-year-old boy was reoprtedly running naked down Second Avenue West. The caller told Columbia Falls Police that no parents seemed to be around, but that the child appeared to be wearing a tracking anklet of some kind.
