Road work on Montana 82 set to begin

Knife River is scheduled to begin work on the Montana Department of Transportation project “Flathead River — East and West” on Wednesday, May 24.

The project consists primarily of a new asphalt overlay and chip seal on Montana 82 between Bigfork and Somers. The project will begin at the junction of Montana 82 and Montana 35, extending to the junction of Montana 82 and U.S. 93. Drivers can expect waiting periods for alternating single-lane traffic during working hours. There will be brief periods where access to adjacent roads and driveways will be delayed.
