Animal assists in harvesting garden

An unidentified domestic animal was reported for eating someone’s garden near Coot Center. The reporting person threatened to roast the animal if someone does not come get it, according to the Kalispell Police Department.

A resident of Skyles Place reported an intruder in her home after her roommate called to inform her she saw someone walking around inside when no one was home. The woman said when she arrived at her house, she found the sliding door to her bedroom wide open. After requesting extra patrol from Whitefish Police in the area, the woman called back a few hours later to report finding an ax outside the house as well.

A Central Avenue resident returned home to find shattered outdoor glassware, a broken fire extinguisher and a dent in the door. The homeowner believed someone tried to break in.

A yellow lab wearing a purple collar was spotted running around on Columbia Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the dog upon arrival.

A tan-and-white Jack Russell terrier was reported missing from its home on West Valley Drive, according to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

At least six storage units on Jensen Road were reportedly broken into throughout the last week.

A border collie was reported missing from Third Street North West.

A pit bull mix reportedly attacked a domestic goat on Blacktail Road.
