Woman followed from bank by masked man
A woman called Kalispell Police to report that a man with a mesh black material over his face had been following her in a truck. The man had allegedly followed her from the bank to Seventh Avenue West. She said the man had been swerving and was driving “erratic and fast.”
A caller on Hawthorn Avenue reported a noise issue and that the “bass was being played so loudly” at a basketball court. The caller also stated that someone had parked in front of a mailbox. Six males were reportedly “counselled about their choice of music, and parking locations.”
A pink bicycle was reportedly stolen from Lawrence Park.
The police were unable to locate a chocolate lab puppy and a young pointer that were reportedly running at large on Airport Road.
A man was cited and then released to a sober driver after a caller reportedly saw him “huffing canned air” on Highway 93 North and stated that the man looked “high.”
A caller on East California Street requested that a speed sign be put in front of his house where people were allegedly speeding. The caller said that one vehicle was going approximately 50 mph and nearly hit him.
A caller reported that several kids were riding on gas-powered go-karts near Duke Drive and that they did not have helmets on and were “running stop signs.”
A mother duck was going in and out of traffic after her ducklings got stuck in a drain according to a caller on Highway 93 South. The Whitefish Police Department advised the caller that fish and game would handle the issue.
A man was reportedly passed out in the bathroom of a business on Central Avenue with the door locked. The caller reported that the man had run into the bathroom puking 20 minutes before. The man was taken to the hospital.
A “crotch rocket” was allegedly driving down Ninth Street West at a speed of 100 mph and drove through a red light, according to Columbia Falls Police. The caller was unable to get a plate number because the motorcycle was “too dirty.”
