Michelle Lee LaBere, 54

| November 4, 2017 7:07 PM

Michelle Lee LaBere was born Michelle Lee Brock on July 13,1963, in Walnut Creek, California, and raised in Martinez, California.

She passed away at the age of 54 from a 15 month-battle with cancer on Oct. 26, 2017, at home with her husband Brad LaBere and her dog Sammy by her side, taking care of her to the end.

Michelle attended schools in Martinez. Michelle was a key punch operator when she meet Brad and they were together there for 10 years upon moving to Dixon. There she worked at the Dixon Melon in Dixon. They had a home built in 2006 in Kalispell and were married July 21, 2007. She worked housekeeping at Motel 6 and then got on with Walmart as an associate night stocker, and she loved her job and co-workers.

Michelle was talented in making unique wind chimes — she made sure everyone had one prior to her passing. She also enjoyed working in her garden and flowers, and canning. You would see her on the back of their motorcycle riding around the valley or up to Glacier Park. They took the motorcycle to California so she could ride, not knowing how long she had.

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, and mother, Sharon, who fought cancer and died on Thanksgiving Day 2016.

Surviving her is her husband Brad, she also leaves behind her dog, Sammy, at their home in Kalispell; her father, Joseph Brock, of Kansas; sisters, Cindy Fryman of Kansas, and Vickie Brock of California; brothers, Rick and Joe Brock from California; and many nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time.
