Betty Motts, 85

Betty Motts passed away peacefully at Lakeview Healthcare Community in Bigfork Nov. 10, 2017. Joi was by her side.

She was born Betty Lucille Burns March 30, 1932, in Jefferson City, Missouri. She joined the Women’s Army Corps in 1952. She was proud to be a veteran.

She is survived by sisters, Katherine Yeager and Lavern Martin; son, Richard Motts, and wife Dana; daughter, Joi Gratny, and husband Geof; grandchildren, Nichole Motts, Samantha Motts, Timothy Gratny, and Christopher Gratigny and wife Melissa; and four great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Leola Burns; siblings, Thomas, Rosella and Tilly; and daughter Patti Motts.

Betty was loved by everyone who knew her. She kept her sense of wit to the end.

Friends and family will be notified of the memorial service to be held in 2018.
