Sweepstakes offer too good to be true

A Lakeside resident called bluff when they got an offer from someone from claiming to be from Publisher’s Clearing House who wanted money in exchange for the release of $2.5 million and a car.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, a woman was 86ed from a Kalispell establishment after reportedly “staring off” in the bathroom, cussing, crying and losing a flip-flop.

Officers determined gun shots heard by a woman in charge of a group of children were coming from bird hunters near the river.

A concerned caller reported a driver headed toward Bigfork who was traveling 15 mph for a prolonged time. The caller was worried the driver was on drugs.

According to the Whitefish Police Department, a shirtless man was lying in his truck with a bow on him.

A Whitefish resident had questions about an injured duck in the neighborhood. Upon further investigation the duck was just going through a molting process.

A bearded man wearing ear muffs was reportedly lying in the road, then jumping up and yelling at passing cars.

According to the Columbia Falls Police Department, a man with loud pipes on his car was keeping a resident up all night.

A caller from Iowa wanted to speak to an officer about the recent school threats, saying they are going through a similar situation.
