Bozeman sweeps 7 on 7 run titles; Bigfork's Morley second

HELENA — Bozeman swept the team titles, boys and girls, while Flathead finished third twice at the Capital City 7 on 7 Cross Country Meet on Thursday afternoon at Bill Roberts Golf Course.

Bozeman’s boys had a team total of 9 with Glacier, 38, second and Flathead, 45, third.

Bozeman’s girls were even stronger, finishing with a perfect score of 7. Missoula Hellgate, 16, was second and Flathead, 38, third.

Bozeman’s boys had the individual winners in five of the seven races.

In the No. 1 race, which featured the top runners from all of the competing schools, Cooper West of C. M. Russell was first with a time of 15 minutes, 33 seconds.

Flathead’s Ben Perrin was third, 16:12.

Glacier’s Nash Grafe won the No. 5 race.

Bozeman’s girls had the top finisher in all seven races.

In the No. 1 race, Camila Noe of Bozeman had a winning time of 17:49. Bigfork’s Bryn Morley was second in 18:10.
