Whitefish City Hall will be closed on Friday, Oct, 13, for “Run, Lock, Fight” staff training.
The training follows the U.S. Department of Homeland Security active shooter response training.
“Now that we are settled in the new [City Hall], and with all that is going on in the world, we feel it important to have staff go through this type of training,” City Manager Adam Hammatt said in a press advisory. “This training does necessitate the closing of City Hall for the day, so I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
