Whitefish manager holds coffee gathering

Whitefish City Manager Adam Hammatt will hold his monthly “Coffee with the City Manager” gathering at 7 a.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 12 at Montana Coffee Traders in downtown Whitefish. He conducts the coffee sessions on the second Thursday of the month, same time and place.

“This is a great opportunity to ask questions about the city, discuss recent or upcoming initiatives or just get to know one another over a cup of coffee,” Hammatt said.

Hammatt also keeps Whitefish residents informed via the city’s email notification list.

“We have recently added several more in the wake of the recent cyberterrorism incident and the list has grown to almost 500,” Hammatt said in an advisory sent to his email followers. “I use this list to provide residents/businesses notifications on all sorts of things, while trying to not bombard you with too many emails.

The email list is used for agenda updates, items of interest or concern for Whitefish at large, and notifications during incidents.
