Sunday service music too loud

| October 16, 2017 6:51 PM

According to the Flathead County Police Department, a caller had a pistol and knives taken out of his unlocked vehicle that was parked in an unlocked garage.

A Bigfork caller said there was a church piping their service music through outdoor speakers so loud she could hear it through her closed doors.

A Whitefish resident said her trash can was hit by a vehicle in the early morning. It was hit so hard it landed 40 feet into her neighbor’s property.

A woman reportedly bought a kitten from a caller then asked to bring it back. The woman then decided to keep the kitten, and now the caller who sold the kitten, wanted the kitten back, or at least to have someone make sure the kitten was OK.

A dispute occurred when one man reportedly used a shotgun to shoot a skunk in his yard. His neighbor thought the man had shot at his dog and children while they were in the neighbor’s yard.

According to the Columbia Falls Police Department, a woman who had been drinking called 911 four times in one hour on Sunday. The first time was an immediate hang up. When dispatchers called back, the female answered “Hello, are you there?” When advised it was 911 she said “oh” and hung up. The second time she called she said she was hit in the face but was OK and she will not answer the door if anyone showed up. She said 911 was just below her friend’s number on speed dial. The third time she reportedly pressed buttons and grunted. The fourth time music was playing loudly. Police reportedly tried to check on her but she wouldn’t open the door.
