Kalispell leaf pick-up underway

Kalispell city fall leaf removal began Oct.16.

Residents and business owners are encouraged to rake the leaves from the boulevard onto the street approximately two feet away from the curb. Bagged leaves should be placed in the alley behind your residence and will be removed with alley clean up.

Do not put rocks, dirt, cans, bottles, branches and items of this nature in the leaf piles because they may cause bodily injury and damage to machinery.

Pick-up times for outlying residential areas vary and are designated by the areas with the highest volume of leaves, contingent on weather conditions, workload and equipment availability. City personnel will make every effort to remove leaves as quickly as possible. Leaves will not be picked up outside of the leaf removal season.
