Man killed in head-on crash identified

The name of the man killed in a head-on car crash in Evergreen on Friday afternoon has been released by the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

Jared W. Jensen, 29, of Kalispell was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after his vehicle collided another, and later died as a result of traumatic injuries.

The driver and passenger of a Dodge Ram pickup were also transported to the hospital after the crash, which occurred at about 2:30 p.m., Oct. 13 near the intersection of Rose Crossing on U.S. 2.

The incident remains under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
