Sandra Stratton Loveall, 77
Sandra Stratton Loveall passed away Oct.17, 2017, at the age of 77.
She was born Aug. 2, 1940, in Coram, the youngest of five children.
Sandy married her high school sweetheart, Ron Loveall, in 1960. While raising her family, Sandy worked at the B&B and Glacier Foods grocery stores for many years.
Before her retirement in 2009, she worked in the Activities Department of the Montana Veterans Home for 24 years.
Sandy’s love and joy for others was contagious. After her retirement, she volunteered at the Columbia Falls Library and hostessed weekly Mexican Train game sessions. One of her favorite pastimes was playing Scrabble with her sister Normie. She loved sewing homemade pillowcases, tying fleece blankets and crocheting. Her flower gardens brought her daily enjoyment and pleasure.
Her most preferred activity was spending time with her family and friends, where her love was felt by all.
Sandy is survived by her older sister Norma Williams of Columbia Falls; brother Frank Stratton (Nancy) of Enum-claw, Wash.; several cousins, nieces and nephews; son, Kip Loveall of Kalispell; daughter Teri Loveall (Ray Sederdahl) of Kalispell; daughter Kendi Strowbridge (Scott) of Columbia Falls; granddaughter Ashley (Joe) Vanek; great-grandchildren Austin, Emmalee and Ryder of Cut Bank, Aleysha (Curtis) Wagner of Somers, great-grandchildren McKenzee, Lynzee and Easton of Somers; grandson Tyler (Amanda ) Benzien of Great Falls; and granddaughters Shanae and Kassidie Strowbridge of Columbia Falls. She also leaves behind her beloved “fur baby” Bishop.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Fairview Cemetery in Columbia Falls. A reception will follow at the North Valley Senior Center in Columbia Falls.
