| October 24, 2017 6:19 PM

Raymond Dwayne Peterson, 57, of Eureka, passed away peacefully on Oct. 18, 2017, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Debra, of 36 years; sons Jason (Cecelia) Peterson and Darren Peterson, and daughter Alicia (Travis) Bourassa; parents, Kenneth and Sharron Peterson; brothers, Randy (Val) Peterson, and Ricky (Lisa) Peterson. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, Savanna, Nathan, Ryan, Gage and Garrett; also many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Let’s not forget his loyal sidekick Rufus.

He was preceded in death by brother, Rocky Peterson; grandparents, Viva and John Peterson, and Beatrice and Ervin Kinney; aunts, Delorise Hall, Delcina Frank and Alma Langtree; uncle, Gary Kinney; father-in-law Joe VanBemmel; and brother-in-law, Albert Bjornrud.

Ray was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He was very a very hardworking man. He enjoyed working on anything with an engine or helping family and friends. His biggest joy was snowmobiling, jeeping, boating, camping and golfing with family and friends. You can ask anyone — he enjoyed picking on kids.

One of his last thoughts was wishing he had more time with his grandkids.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at Eureka Church of God, 1295 2nd Ave. East.

A huge thank you to all of the first floor staff at KRMC.

The Peterson family is very blessed with all of the outpouring of love and generosity through this difficult time.
