Neigh-bor reports 'hay is for horses'

According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office call logs, a caller said it looked like horses were eating garbage out of three large garbage bags. The caller said it’s not healthy for horses to eat garbage.

A driver said a woman installed speed bumps in the road near Columbia Falls and they damaged the driver’s vehicle.

A Whitefish resident reported their mail-order prescriptions were stolen for the second time.

A Kalispell man said he was selling a vehicle and the buyer sent him a fake check for $1,000 over the asking price, and requested he send back the change. The man consulted his bank who told him this was a common, ongoing scam. The bank told him to turn in the fake check to police.

According to the Columbia Falls Police Department, a driver said she almost got rear-ended by a pickup. The pickup driver then allegedly followed her and got out of his truck to yell at the woman.

A Columbia Falls resident said they left their car unlocked and the registration was stolen from the glove box.
