Stillwater soccer wins first round game at MCAA state
Stillwater Christian edged Billings Christian 2-1 to open the Montana Christian Athletic Association state boys soccer tournament with a narrow win on Thursday afternoon at Stillwater Christian School.
The Cougars far outshot Billings, notching 22 shots on goal, but couldn’t get anything past its keeper in the run of play. Stillwater’s two goals came on penalty kicks, one each from Zac King and David Rodriguez.
