Richard Harlan Pierce, 86

It is with heavy hearts we say that our dad Richard Harlan Pierce passed away peacefully on Oct. 23, 2017, at the age of 86, at the Brendan House in Kalispell.

Dad was born in Truman Minnesota to Ruby and Edward Pierce.

Richard is lovingly survived by his children, Diana Sandalack (Bill), Susan Gendreau (Larry), and Rick.

Dad enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren, Christopher, Lacey, Kimberly, Michael and Madison; and with his 10 great-grandkids, Kassandra, Farley, Ryley, Jackson, Addison, Mayson, Ellison, Marly, Scout and Myles.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Katherine and Grandsons Zackary and Tyler Pierce. Dad enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and meeting his many friends for “breakfast.” This time of year you would find him hunting or enjoying the outdoors.

Many people have enjoyed the fish he caught or a “cottage cheese” container of raspberries or tomatoes from his garden.

Dad was an electrician and a proud member of the IBEW.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m on Saturday, Nov 25, at the Meadow Lake Golf Course Grille in Columbia Falls.
