| September 2, 2017 2:00 AM

An individual called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report his or her cat had been chased up a pine tree and was there for over 12 hours. The caller suspected the cat was caught on something, preventing it from getting down on its own. An officer spoke with the caller and stated that animal control did not have the necessary resources to get the cat down, and suggested they contact an arborist.

A man reportedly stole a pair of shoes and threatened a loss prevention officer with bear spray before exiting the store and jumping a fence. The man was described as having long hair in a bun and a calf tattoo.

Someone reported their mother was allegedly selling prescription pills she had not used.

A male reportedly threatened a woman’s son by yelling “hurry up and get in the truck before you get shot.” The caller did not see a gun, and described the male’s vehicle as a silver SUV. An officer stopped the male in question. The man later called the reporting party and apologized. She then stated she would drop the charges.

A male reported his neighbor’s sprinkler was spraying his fence. An office responded and found the sprinkler spray was barely touching the caller’s fence and determine the complaint to be unfounded. The caller was allegedly highly intoxicated and reportedly ranting and raving about government conspiracies and how they relate to his sexual orientation.

An individual contacted Whitefish Police Department to report a woman allegedly took off all of her clothes near a community center, put on a bikini and took off on a paddle board. An officer counseled the woman in question.
