| September 3, 2017 2:00 AM

Ronald Robert Buck, 79, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017.

Ron was born and raised in Kalispell. He grew up on a farm, where he learned the value of hard work. Ron graduated from Flathead High School and then received a degree from Montana State University in Bozeman. While attending college, he married his high school sweetheart, Dianne Buckingham.

Ron then took a job with the Boeing Company in the Puget Sound region, where he celebrated a 31-year career. Ron and Dianne shared a loving and welcoming home in Bellevue for their children, Pam and Rod, and were joined by Ron’s youngest sibling, Marcia, for her high school years.

Ron loved being with friends and family and enjoyed his yearly trips to Arizona for the spring and Montana for the family summer vacation at Little Bitterroot Lake.

Outside of work Ron showed a passion for being a do-it-yourselfer. Ron will be remembered as a hardworking perfectionist who would always help anyone in need. His great sense of humor will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dianne. He also leaves behind three siblings; Don, Karen and Marcia; two children, Pam and Rod; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

We are now comforted that Ron is free from the Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s that had impacted his life for the past 10 years. In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the Alzheimer’s fund to find a cure, or a charity of your choosing.

Services will be at 4 p.m., at Flintoft’s Funeral Home, Issaquah, Washington, on Sept. 9. Friends are invited to sign the family’s guestbook at www.Flintofts.com.
