A lawyer reported he was having difficulty with a subject who was allegedly threatening him. The lawyer allegedly said if he didn’t get assistance he would shoot the guy. Dispatch advised the lawyer he was on a recorded line. The lawyer allegedly stated “I don’t care what I am, I am so done with this guy.” The lawyer stormed off and said he would take care of it himself.

A male was reportedly seen beating a dog and pouring water on it while screaming at it to shut up. The dog was allegedly yelping. An officer responded to the scene and reported the dog appeared healthy and did not have any apparent bruises or wounds. The owner told the officer the dog was yelping at a squirrel and he was reprimanding the dog.

An individual contacted the Whitefish Police Department to report students who were staying at their residence became upset and flushed some items down a toilet, which reportedly ruined a pump. The caller was advised the manner was civil in nature.

A driver claimed transients were yelling profanities. An officer spoke with the individuals in question who told the officer the reporting party “started it” when she told them to get a job. The individuals were counseled on the use of profane language.

A man reportedly assaulted a taxi driver in a parking lot and assaulted another individual in an elevator when they tried to get the man to pay for the cab. The taxi driver reportedly took a punch to the face and refused medical attention. The man was reportedly deported and placed under the custody of Border Patrol.
