Irene Steffenson

Irene Steffenson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, surrounded by loved ones.

Irene’s favorite pastime was playing Keno and a special thanks to all of her Keno friends and to Ethel Ellington for always being there for her. Irene was born in Tioga, North Dakota moved to Kalispell where she married the love of her life and was a longtime resident of Kalispell. She was a proud Norwegian.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, “Steff,” her son Larry and a sister Bernice Olson Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Thompson, son Wayne Steffenson and his wife Ruth, brother Duane Olson and grandchildren Julie Marratt, DeeAnn, Rebecca and Ryan Steffenson and great grandchildren Tamara and Kayci Deal and Samantha Herbold. Private services are planned.
