Kelly William Galloway, 64, passed away Sept. 8, 2017, at home in Kemmerer, Wyoming, surrounded by loved ones.

Kelly was born Sept. 7, 1953, in Kalispell, as the fourth of seven children.

He married his sweetheart, Linda Vance, on Nov. 18, 1972. They remained in the Flathead and raised five, very loved children.

Kelly was a self-employed logger and millwright, a fabricator and manager of Montana Timberline, landscaper, builder, handyman, woodworker, and servant of God in many various capacities. He loved the woods, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He loved hard work and had superhuman strength inside and out. There was always fun and mischief when he was around.

He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved his Savior and had a strong testimony that he eagerly shared. He loved his family and had a strong faith of eternal families. His greatest joy was playing with his 20 grandchildren.

Kelly will be dearly missed by all 20 grandchildren; his loving wife of 44 years, Linda; and their five children, Cade (Jill) Galloway, Thomas (Suzanne) Galloway, Chip (Melissa) Galloway, LeAnn (Clay) Broadhead, and Kelcy Galloway (Dirk Graham); his father, Calvin Rex Galloway; siblings, Tessa (Kent) Hill, Leola (Morris) Stout, Gayle (Val) Galloway, Jerry (Geri) Galloway, Allan Galloway, and Corby Jay (Tiffany) Galloway; and many more family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leah Marie (Kelly) Galloway; his father and mother-in-law, Maurice Edward Vance and Beatrice Elaine (Solberg) Vance; and a dear brother-in-law, Maury Vance; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Kelly will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 1380 Whitefish Stage Road in Kalispell. A viewing will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral.

Darlington Cremation and Burial Service is caring for Kelly’s family.
