Flurry of holes-in-one at local courses

A plethora of aces has been recorded in the Flathead Valley over the past three weeks.

Three have come at Eagle Bend Golf Club in Bigfork.

Ted Burrows used a 7-iron to ace the 167-yard No. 12 on Aug. 26. Paul Lentz, Brett Keshtker and Robert Bell were witnesses.

On Aug. 30, Connie Kalberg hit a hole-in-one on the 106-yard No. 16. Kalberg’s ace, also hit with a 7-iron, was witnessed by Barb Lacey and Jan Pisko.

Carol Chase also aced the 16th, playing on Sept. 12 at 99 yards, with a hybrid. It was her third hole-in-one of the year and her second on No. 16 alone. Pat Eaton, Nina Anderson and Nancy Donahugh were witnesses.

Bill Dickinson hit his first ace on Sept. 11 at Village Greens Golf Course in Kalispell. Dickinson hit an 8-iron on the 16th hole, playing at 128 yards. Jim Bridger and Lonnie Kattraba witnessed the hole-in-one.
