Police advised of anxious tree trimmer

According to the Whitefish Police Department, a resident had questions about whether or not his neighbor can trim his tree. Nothing had happened at that point, he just “had a feeling” his neighbor will want to trim it.

A domestic dispute started over rent money in Whitefish. The male roommate said his female roommate went crazy over the weekend and now he wants his rent and deposit back.

A large black bear was seen coming out of the woods toward an intersection in Whitefish.

According to the Kalispell Police Department, a male was outside near a gazebo half naked and burping.

A caller stated a group of subjects were yelling and screeching, and when she asked them to quiet down they cursed at her.

A caller said a neighbor was belligerently yelling at a group of guys who were playing cards.

A caller said their was a man drinking a tall boy beer near a roundabout who looked scruffy and unsteady on his feet.

A man who agreed to watch a house for his neighbor reported a young woman picking up pine cones in their yard for hours. The female said she had permission to take the pine cones but the name she gave wasn’t the owner of the property.

An intoxicated man in a fast food restaurant parking lot was reportedly yelling and flipping people off.

A child reportedly left in a car was supposed to be watched by his father, but the father was allegedly gambling.

Deputies responded to a report of a man in a car with a gun in the parking lot of the Lake County Courthouse in Polson at about 4 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies from inside the courthouse approached the vehicle and found a 95-year-old Missoula man had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Lake County Sheriff-Coroner.
