Horse stampede down Highway 93

According to a Flathead County Sheriff’s report, between 20 and 30 horses reportedly escaped and were seen running northbound on U.S. 93.

A woman reported a neighbor’s dog for hanging out on her deck and refusing to leave. The woman told animal control that her son had contacted the owner who allegedly refused to pick up the dog and insisted they bring the dog to them.

A man was sent to the hospital with a black eye and a bloody mouth after a fight reportedly broke out at his residence on Hathaway Lane. Upon arrival, officers said windows of the house had been “busted out” and there were bloody rags on the floor.

A fast food restaurant employee reported a man for hitting the building with his car mirror. The employee claimed the driver was notably intoxicated and also nearly hit another vehicle on his way out of the parking lot. The man then reportedly went down the street and parked, went into a store and came back out, stumbling to his car where he sat for a while with his door open before driving away.

A resident of Waverly Place in Whitefish found herself in a stinky situation when raw sewage allegedly began back up and fill her basement. Public Works was notified of the issue.

A brown Dachshund wearing a T-shirt was found on Sunset Drive and taken to the county animal shelter.

Officers responded to an accidental 911 call from a gym in Evergreen. Upon arrival a woman notified them that she had “boob dialed” them while her phone was in her bra during her workout.

Someone reportedly found and captured an injured owl on Farm to Market Road.

Someone reported the theft of two 6-foot Christmas wreaths to the Kalispell Police Department.

A black and white pit bull mix was found on the corner of Hilltop Drive and Sherry Lane.

A woman reported her neighbor for allegedly attacking she and her husband, reaching into her running car and taking her keys to prevent them from leaving their home. The neighbor allegedly believed the couple had something to do with a break in on her property.

Officers responded to a break in at a coffee shop, where someone reportedly broke a window.
