Denise Gochanour Dickinson, 65

| April 10, 2018 2:00 AM

A bright shining smile was born on May 28, 1953, in Anaconda. Denise Gochanour Dickinson was the sixth child of Donald and Bernice Gochanour, followed very shortly by her twin brother, Denis.

Denise was raised in Columbia Falls and was class president in 1971. Denise received her AA degree in gerontology and she worked hard for many years with the elderly until MS and macular degeneration made that no longer possible.

In 1974 Denise married her life partner Dwayne Dickinson. They had a little precious boy named Bradley, who brought them so much joy.

She fought a hard, long battle with cancer. In the end she lost her battle with cancer but won her ever-lasting life with Jesus.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Bernice Gochanour; and also brothers Don Jr., and Skip. She is survived by her best friend and husband Dwayne; her son, Bradley (Anna) of Spokane, Wash.; her twin brother, Denis (Winnie) of Anaconda; sisters, Cynthia Deist of Kalispell, Alanna (Dean) and Gail (Jeff) of Spokane.

Until we meet again you will be missed more than you know.

A celebration is being held at 3 p.m. April 21 at the Samaritan House in Spokane Valley.
