Esther Yvonne Ingram, age 90, passed away April 5, 2018 in Spokane Valley. Esther was born May 22, 1927 in Columbia Falls to parents Pearl and Bradford Leighty. Esther married James R. Ingram on Dec. 31, 1945. Esther loved to work in her garden, play cards with family and friends and volunteered many years at RSVP - Meals on Wheels. Esther enjoyed traveling. She had a bucket list which included seeing New York City, going on a cruise through the Panama Canal and cruising the Mississippi on a Paddle Wheel. She checked everything off her bucket list, enjoying them all with her daughters and friends.

Esther is survived by her two daughters, Judy Dryden (Bob) and Faye Olson (Jerry), both of Spokane Valley; five grandchildren; Andria Young (Mike) of Spokane, Brian Spitzer (Kim) of Green Valley, Arizona, Kenny Ingram of Kalispell, Aaron Olson (Katie), of Bellevue, Washington and Christina Wold of Bonney Lake, Washington; eight great-grandchildren, Meriah, Mikaela, Marissa, Mirranda, Samantha, Toby, Bain and Kruse; and two great-great- grandchildren, Ryan and Karson. She is also survived by sisters Thelma Carter of Columbia Falls, James Leighty of University City, Washington, Violet Lundy of Aloha, Oregon, Ardith Wolfe of Spanaway, Washington and Andy Leighty of Kalispell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Bradford and Pearl Leighty, husband James R. Ingram, son James B. Ingram, sisters Ellen, Ethel, Nellie, Bertha, Alma, Irene and June and brothers Sam, Earl, Charlie and Ted.

Esther lived in Kalispell until May of 2015, when she decided to move to Spokane Valley to be near her daughters. She lived at Colonial Court for almost 3 years. There will be no memorial service, per Esther’s request. Memorial contributions can be made to Meals on Wheels in Kalispell.
