Corvette windshield gets slimed

The windshield of a 2000 Corvette was busted out and there was a green slime-like substance on the window.

A caller reported a woman who was on a bike selling educational products who wouldn’t take no for an answer.

A store worker called the Kalispell Police Department to report the theft of a jerky and cheese packet, valued at $3.99. The accused was a woman who left the scene in a black Ford Taurus.

Someone said a man stole a blanket and ran away, but he dropped it and the caller recovered it.

A store owner reported two men stole alcohol on separate occasions. One of the men was described as being in his 50s, bald and missing a front tooth. The other was in his 20s, had on a vest and possibly a plaid shirt with a baseball cap.

A man in a van was circling around a school, according to a woman who was dropping off her child.

An employee at a store reported a couple had stolen some beach towels. The man was wearing a baseball cap and the woman was wearing white pants.

A caller wanted a man who was sleeping in the bushes removed from the property.

A pizza delivery driver was reportedly speeding.

A caller reported a woman setting small hot-air balloons loose. The person was concerned about the fire danger because the woman wasn’t going to pick them up. An officer spoke with the woman who was lighting them and she said they were designed to go out before they hit the ground.

Someone reported a woman flipping ashes on the ground. The caller wanted an officer to advise the driver of the dangers of starting a fire.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a black horse running toward U.S. 2 east of Hungry Horse near the fur trading store. An animal control officer managed to get the horse under control.

One of two men involved in a property dispute allegedly came on to the other’s land, mowed some of the lawn and spray painted on it.
