A woman who reportedly had her saddle stolen a year ago called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report she found it for sale on Facebook.

A woman called 911 after a verbal dispute with her husband. Her father-in-law said he believed she called because she wanted to get his son in trouble. The father-in-law said she was visisting from Tennessee for the last four weeks and he didn’t want her to stay at his home anymore.

A man called to report having several guns stolen from his residence. He believed his son had done it.

Someone called dispatch and wanted police notified of some men working late at night on a house because he believed they were drug addicts. A deputy spoke with one man at the location and confirmed he had a prior criminal record for drug possession. The officer also determined the man was packing up a friend’s trailer for the night and they said they would stop making noise.

A woman called while she was driving to report she had seen a teenage boy riding her son’s stolen bike. She was sure the bike was her child’s because it had distinct features. She tried to keep track of the alleged thief, but got caught up in traffic and lost him.

A man reported losing his .357 Smith and Wesson handgun two weeks ago.

Columbia Falls Police assisted at the scene of a minor traffic accident on Nucleus Avenue where a man admitted he was distracted when he rear-ended a van. The driver of the car was cited for following too closely.

A woman wanted to know how to get a temporary restraining order after her daughter approached her and made a threatening comment.

A woman called after a man wearing an orange and yellow vest came to her door and looked inside. He left when the dogs began to bark. An officer determined he was with the water company.

A caller to the Whitefish Police Department reported she couldn’t find her 84-year-old companion. But it wasn’t long before they were happily reunited.

A man boating on Whitefish Lake needed a tow back to the dock after he couldn’t get it started again. A dispatcher contacted the marine and someone there said they’d tow him back.

A caller reported seeing a black bear wandering through Whitefish near the hospital. She said people were getting out of their vehicles to walk closer to it and she was concerned.
